So you're having a bad day, what now?
We've all had bad days, some more than others. When you're having a bad day everything irritates you. You become snappy, and you begin to speak more negatively which only makes the situation worse. Here are some tips on turning a bad day around:
• Take a few seconds to just breath. Simply taking a few deep breaths can put ease to the situation.
• Pinpoint the problem. If you find the main culprit to why your day went sour, you'll be able to reevaluate the situation and find a solution.
• Switch your focus. Realize what you're upset about if insignificant to all that you have. If your day went bad because you were stuck in traffic, instead of being upset be thankful you have a car to drive to the job you have.
• Trick your mood. Watching funny videos, talk to your best friend, or even tell a corny joke. Try to do anything that will distract your mind, and put you in a better mood.
